We’re now expanding into the private sector in DACH — unlocking new revenue streams across Real Estate, Engineering, and Infrastructure, and we’re looking for a Sales Business Development Manager to lead this market entry.

What You’ll Do 

The Sales Business Development Manager leads Cyclomedia’s market entry into private-sector verticals in DACH. The primary focus lies in Real Estate (e.g., refurbishment, development, asset/portfolio management), complemented by Engineering and Infrastructure. 

You’ll own the entire go-to-market (GTM) — from research and use-case definition to pipeline creation — and hand over matured opportunities to future Account Managers. The role offers a clear growth path toward team leadership (BDR/AM). 

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end GTM ownership: segmentation, ICPs / buyer personas, messaging, pricing/packaging, alliances, and routes to market. 

  • Market entry & validation: test hypotheses, perform competitive scans, and identify priority sub-verticals (e.g., REITs/funds, developers, engineering firms). 

  • Use-case design: translate existing content/data into tangible value (e.g., refurbishment planning, due diligence, portfolio reviews, site logistics, ESG, impervious-surface analysis, address validation). 

  • Pipeline generation: proactive outbound outreach, events, and partner engagements; develop sales plays and maintain accurate CRM forecasting (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics). 

  • Deal orchestration: run discovery/value sessions, shape business cases, and coordinate with presales, product, and marketing teams. 

  • Sales enablement: build playbooks, battlecards, reference stories, and provide structured market feedback. 

  • Partner ecosystem: identify and activate integration or solution partners within target markets. 

  • Leadership track: opportunity to build and lead a focused new-business team as the business scales. 

Job requirements

  • 5–10 years in Business Development / New-Logo Sales (Enterprise, SaaS, or Data solutions).

  • Background in Real Estate / PropTech, Engineering, or Infrastructure is a strong plus.

  • Proven GTM builder with experience in segmentation, value propositions, and partnerships.

  • Hunter DNA — skilled at outbound, storytelling, and C-level value selling.

  • Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English; confident working across DACH.

  • Entrepreneurial, structured, and self-driven, with a willingness to travel
