Cyclomedia is expanding our innovative geospatial portfolio with a new Pavement line of business, providing state and local government agencies with advanced insights to manage and maintain their road networks.

 

We are seeking a Solution Engineer who is motivated, creative, and results-oriented to help bring these solutions to life for our customers.

 

In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Pavement Sales team to design and deliver compelling demonstrations, proposals, and workflows that showcase how Cyclomedia’s street-level imagery, LiDAR, pavement condition data, and analytics can solve real infrastructure challenges. You’ll play a critical role in translating customer needs into actionable solutions that help municipalities, Departments of Transportation, and public works agencies make data-driven decisions for safer, smarter communities.

               

Job Duties

  • Develop customized pavement data and infrastructure solutions that demonstrate the value of Cyclomedia’s technology to government clients.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to participate in sales calls, client meetings, and technical presentations.

  • Prepare and analyze datasets in ArcGIS Pro, and publish interactive maps and layers in ArcGIS Online for use in client demonstrations.

  • Contribute to proposal development, technical documentation, and client training materials.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, effectively communicating the Cyclomedia value proposition for imagery, LiDAR, and data analytics.

  • Lead customer training sessions to demonstrate how to effectively use StreetSmart for accessing, viewing, and utilizing collected data.

  • Stay informed about advancements in geospatial technology and pavement management trends to continuously improve solution offerings.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in GIS, geospatial technology, or data analytics; experience with pavement or infrastructure applications highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, including analysis, editing, and web mapping tools.

  • Experience working with state or local government clients, ideally in public works, asset management, or transportation.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn new tools and contribute across teams.
