We are looking for a front-end developer to help shape the future of our next-generation applications — modern, intuitive, and powerful. Within our Consumption Tribe, we are improving customer channels like Street Smart and our APIs to offer a more flexible and high-performance experience.

• Help design and build a new greenfield application within our HTML5-based online viewing environment, powered by React.

• Use a variety of programming languages and frameworks to create a top-notch experience for both users of our application, as well as other (internal and external) developers connecting to our services, and front-end SDK, via third-party applications

• Collaborate closely in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals, such as back-end developers and UX designers

• Contribute to building high-quality mockups and prototypes

• Performance is not just an afterthought

• Show proactiveness and accountability when tackling challenges

• Keep abreast of the latest and emerging technologies

• Eager to further develop your own hard and soft skills

• Help analyze and refine the needs of the user/product owner

• Design, test , and develop the software to meet those needs

• Employ best practices for creating and maintaining documentation, keeping internal as well as external users of our software in mind

• A degree in ICT or Information and Communication Technology

• Some hands-on experience with front-end technologies like TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and JavaScript

• An interest in tools like Turborepo, Github Actions, or a willingness to learn.

• Good sense for design and UX

• Problem-solving mindset and strong analytical thinking

• Good interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude, initiative, creativity, and flexibility

• The ability to both work independently and as part of a team

• Comfort with planning and prioritizing your work in alignment with team and product goals

• It’s a plus if you’ve worked with WebGL/WebGPU technologies like ThreeJS, or if you know geospatial tools like OpenLayers or Proj4.
