Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Process Improvement Intern to join the Operations team! This part time internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global company while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
As an intern, you will play a key role in a process improvement program that will enhance how our company operates worldwide. You will work closely with stakeholders to document and visualize processes and help develop recommendations that enhance efficiency and collaboration across teams. In this role, you will build skills in process management methodologies, continuous improvement practices, and effective cross-functional communication.
This is a part time internship, targeting 15-20 hours per week in our Middleton, WI office for the fall semester with the potential for extension depending on the state of the project.
Conduct interactive sessions with stakeholders to document current-state global workflows and supporting computer systems.
Co-develop process maps during these sessions, incorporating stakeholder input and making real-time adjustments based on feedback.
Collaborate with program leadership upon completion of the current-state map to perform gap analyses, identify inefficiencies, and develop actionable recommendations for global leadership decision-making.
Support process standardization efforts across global operations.
Create a future-state process map incorporating confirmed improvements and recommendations.
Work closely with the Program Manager across all duties to track progress, maintain documentation, and ensure requirements are met to support program success.
Job requirements
Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management or other relevant field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and work in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills.
